About us

High-Quality Drug Transporter Assays

PortaCellTec Biosciences GmbH, founded in 2009 in Göttingen, Germany, builds on decades of scientific expertise in membrane transporters and their interactions with drugs.

We provide a comprehensive range of drug transporter assays with transporters stably overexpressed in HEK293 cells (human embryonic kidney) and validated using their respective probe substrates and inhibitors.

Our main focus is on human drug transporters, while we are continuously expanding our portfolio to include preclinical species such as mouse, rat, dog, and monkey, supporting translational research from preclinical studies to clinical development.
